About Session
Nordic countries already have experience in building LCAs and the required data. This experience has led to valuable learnings but has also revealed gaps in current knowledge. Through the collaboration “Nordic Sustainable Construction,” the Nordic countries have gathered key learnings and recommendations for the road ahead. The presentation will share the latest findings and results, including knowledge about:
• Learnings from national GWP databases and new research on the impact of vegetation on building plots
• How to assess GWP for existing buildings
• A review of European developments in standardization and regulation
• Nordic approaches to GWP data and life cycle scenarios
• New BIM tools to improve the design phase
