About Session

Regenerative Digital Design redefines our approach to urban development, moving beyond traditional sustainability to embrace practices that enhance and revitalize ecology and human systems while decarbonizing within the frame of a changing climate. Central to this method is the use of advanced digital scripting tools like BIM (Building Information Modeling) and Grasshopper to simulate and plan strategic interventions.

By leveraging parametric design, the talk highlights how we can create dynamically responsive urban environments and buildings that anticipate and adapt to future challenges. This approach integrates ecosystem recovery, biodiversity enhancement, decarbonization, and human well-being into every aspect of urban development. Attendees will gain insights into how digital tools and scripting can drive the creation of sustainable, resilient urban environments, positioning them at the forefront of regenerative urban design.
